Serving my country: With retired United States Army General Vincent K. Brooks. At West Point, Brooks was the academy's first African-American First Captain, the highest position (Cadet Brigade Commander) a cadet can hold. It was an honor to work with and beside this man at Camp Casey, Korea.

Dr. Warren M. Washington and his wife Mary. It was quite the honor to get to meet, talk and do portraits of this wonderful couple. Historical figure. Warren M. Washington is an American atmospheric scientist, a former chair of the National Science Board, and currently senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. He has served under every President from Carter to Obama. A building at Penn State was recently named after him. (Jan. 2020)

Some of the magazines I got to narrate are Ebony, Essence, The Atlantic, True West, RollingStone, as well as numerous fiction, non-fiction, cook books, self-help, political and historical books. African -American History being my favorite subject.

The Age of Kindness by Dwayne Glapion. 2015 Mayor's Design Award - The mural was commissioned as part of the Whittier Dayz Neighborhood 2015 Celebration. The concept of the mural is a reaction and response to a hate crime act that occurred in the neighborhood. The theme of this mural is to show that a neighborhood's strength comes from individuals who come together as a community to support each other while also symbolizing neighborhood diversity and unity.
